Sessions are held at my peaceful rural studio in Ohauiti, Tauranga. Surrounded by native bush with a scenic pond backdrop, it’s the perfect place to relax and capture photos that feel both natural and professional. Prefer an urban vibe or want to shoot at your own location? Let’s make it happen.

What should I wear for my branding / headshot session?
Choose outfits that reflect your personality and profession. Solid colours and subtle textures usually work best. For Personal Branding sessions, bring a couple of options so we can mix it up. Avoid busy patterns or logos unless they’re part of your brand.
Can I use these images for LinkedIn, websites, and social?
Yes! The final high-resolution images are yours to use across all your professional platforms – LinkedIn, your website, social media, print marketing and more. If you need a variety of crops or aspect ratios, just let me know.
Do you offer team or group sessions?
Absolutely. Whether it’s a small business team or a larger company, I can photograph everyone in a consistent style for a professional and cohesive look. Group shots can also be included – just get in touch and we’ll tailor a session to suit your needs.
Can I do both indoor and outdoor shots in one session?
Definitely. If you’re booking a personal branding session, we can easily make time for both studio and outdoor photos around my rural property, or at a location that’s meaningful to your brand.
What’s the turnaround time?
You’ll receive a proofing gallery within 3–5 working days. Once you’ve made your image selections, final retouched photos are delivered within a week. If you need them urgently, just let me know – I’m happy to prioritise when possible.
Do you provide makeup services?
While I don’t personally offer makeup, I have a few lovely makeup artists who I can put you in touch with. If you’d like to feel that extra boost of confidence, I highly recommend booking makeup… and hair too!
Can I update my headshot only, or do a full brand refresh?
I offer both. If you’re after just a fresh profile image, the basic headshot session is perfect. But if you’re launching a new website, building your personal brand, or refreshing your visual identity, the personal branding session gives you loads of variety to work with.
Where is your studio located?
My studio is nestled in a peaceful rural spot in Ohauiti, Tauranga, with native bush and a pond nearby – perfect for both indoor and outdoor shots.
Do you help with posing?
100%. I’ll guide you the whole way so you never feel awkward or unsure what to do. Most clients are surprised by how easy and even fun it feels!
Can I use props or products in my session?
Yes! If you have items that represent your work, like tools, products, books, or even a coffee cup, bring them along! These help tell your brand story.
Vanessa is an amazingly talented photographer who just knows how to bring out the best in her subjects.
